German Football Association (Deutscher Fußball-Bund)

Back in November 2023, the German Football Association was preparing for the 2024 cup finals
 — or the DFB-Pokal finals, as they call it in Germany — for both men and women. And they wanted to place a clear focus on environmental sustainability for these events. 

Luckily, they decided to turn to Dazzle, and we teamed them up with our Climate Action Freelancer Orjan, who had previously worked at FIFA! If you don’t know who FIFA are, they’re kind of a big deal in the world of football — they’re the governing body of football worldwide). 

Orjan worked for over 6 months with the client’s sustainability manager Simon Rasch to make the cup finals more environmentally conscious.

As the client was looking for a freelancer with experience in planning and leading sustainable event management, Orjan was the perfect match.

MIDGARD

From sustainable real-life games, to sustainable video games! 

Another happy Dazzle client is Midgard, who focus on making the video game industry more sustainable, one game at a time.

The first step in achieving this was to give gamers access to a curated list of the best carbon-neutral games on the market.

To make it happen, Midgard reached out to Dazzle in December 2023 in search of a top-tier Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) freelancer. Within 48 hours, we had matched them with Talha, whose expertise were a perfect match. 

Within 8 weeks, Talha had performed an LCA following ISO standards and presented it to the client. 

Not only was the client delighted with the outcome of this particular project, they seem to be very happy with Dazzle in general!

Hanzestrohm

Hanzestrohm — a Dutch family company offering solutions for construction, industry, energy and infrastructure — is another client who appreciated how easy it is to find the right freelance sustainability consultant through Dazzle. 

They were looking to hold an in-person, interactive workshop on LCA/EPD in June 2024, and wanted support from a suitable sustainability specialist. 

Without fuss, Dazzle was able to connect them with Senior Climate Freelancer, Nienke, who helped them run a successful workshop. The workshop provided Hanzestrohm’s product managers with everything they needed to know about what an LCA/EPD entails, and why these documents are crucial for achieving the company’s sustainability objectives.

SKIM Group

Back in April 2024, global insights agency SKIM Group was looking for an external copywriter with strong sustainability messaging experience. 

The client had already developed a number of sustainability messages for their external communication strategy, and wanted this copywriter to refine those messages. 

Within 24 hours of SKIM Group reaching out, we had matched them with Adam, a freelance sustainability copywriter and communications expert. 

Adam was able to review the existing messages, and build upon them to create compelling copy that the client loved.

From our experience, everyone is looking for help with the CSRD lately, and Nedspice Group are no different. Thankfully, Dazzle was able to take their CSRD pain away! 

In preparation for FY2025-related CSRD actions, Nedspice Group was aiming to conduct a Double Materiality Analysis (DMA) in alignment with the CSRD's ESRS-1 requirements, for the fiscal year 2023. 

They required a CSRD freelancer to assist them with this (who wouldn’t!), so they reached out to Dazzle. Within a few days, we matched the client with CSRD expert Chi, who was an ideal match in terms of both languages and expertise. 

After 3 months of collaboration, the project was delivered, and the client’s CSRD worries were no more.
