EcoVadis Silver, then an ESG roadmap with SBTi in view.
Karsten International reached EcoVadis Silver with Dazzle, placing it in the top 15% of companies EcoVadis rates. Now Ana and Wouter are working with the team on its ESG strategy and on mapping its decarbonisation in line with SBTi.
The situation
Karsten International is a full-service product development and trading company for non-food products, based in the Netherlands. In April 2026 its ESG team brought in Dazzle for its EcoVadis assessment.
Once the medal was in, the next question was what to prioritise: an ESG strategy, the regulations that apply to the business, and whether a science-based target is feasible.
Our approach
Dazzle experts worked with the Karsten International team on three workstreams:
- EcoVadis gap analysis, implementation and submission. A Dazzle expert assessed the gaps, supported the implementation and helped prepare the submission.
- ESG roadmap development. Ana and Wouter are working with the team on an ESG strategy, turned into a roadmap of clear priorities and practical next steps.
- Regulatory mapping and SBTi feasibility assessment. Mapping which sustainability regulations apply, and assessing how Karsten International can align its decarbonisation efforts with SBTi.
The outcome
EcoVadis Silver for Karsten International, placing it in the top 15% of rated companies. With the medal in, the team moved straight on to strategy with the same partner, and now has specialists on hand across ESG strategy, regulation and decarbonisation.
