A PPWR obligation assessment, in a 10-hour pilot.
TransPak, a global packaging, crating and logistics company, worked with Dazzle expert Kayleigh to find out what the EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation means for its business. The 10-hour pilot closed with a PPWR obligation assessment that TransPak keeps on file.
The situation
TransPak is a global packaging, crating and logistics company headquartered in Silicon Valley, with facilities in Asia, Mexico and Europe. Its ESG and Sustainability team wanted to know which PPWR requirements apply to TransPak and what it needs to do to prepare.
Rather than start with a large project, TransPak approved a 10-hour pilot to test working with an external PPWR expert.
Our approach
Dazzle matched TransPak with Kayleigh, a PPWR and circular economy expert who advised the European Commission on the PPWR revision. After a free 30-minute introduction to agree priorities, the pilot started at the end of September 2026:
- Learning the business first. Kayleigh took time to understand how TransPak works, so the advice fits the business rather than the regulation in general.
- Three working sessions. Three one-hour sessions with the TransPak team, with Kayleigh working on the analysis between each meeting.
- PPWR obligation assessment. A written assessment of TransPak's obligations under PPWR, handed over in a final session on 26 October 2026.
The outcome
TransPak now has a PPWR obligation assessment on file to reference as its consultant's opinion, and a clearer view of the steps to take as it prepares for the regulation. Because Kayleigh already knows the business, the team can pick up follow-up questions with her without starting over.
